Why Coconuts? I've always made jewelry from shells, river stones, and leather scraps - but upon moving to a small island in Indonesia, I started to become much more aware of my environmental footprint. All of a sudden it felt like everything I wanted to create was harmful to our planet... How could I continue to create a product that would give others permission to take objects from their natural environment?
